Mercy of honey "Mitsu-no-Aware"

"Mercy of Honey (Mitsu-no-Aware)" is the title of a novel by Saisei Murou who is a Japanese novelist. This painting is inspired by the novel which is a fantasic, innocent but erotic story between an old writer who is said to be projecting Mr. Murou himself and his girlfriend “Akako” who is able to transform freely as a goldfish.
